Donate Life Hollywood

Donate Life Hollywood is project of Donate Life America, the national the public education effort, and OneLegacy, the organ recovery agency serving Los Angeles. Tenaya Wallace serves as the campaign director for the project.

Tenaya Wallace designed the Donate Life Hollywood campaign in response to a series of research papers outlining the serious consequences of inaccurate information about organ and tissue donation on television. As the former manager of communications at OneLegacy, the organ procurement organization servicing Southern California, Tenaya gained intimate knowledge about the donation and transplant system. She designed the organization’s successful volunteer program and continues to train them to tell their personal stories of hope, love and transformation. With Donate Life Hollywood she now helps writers and documentary producers tell these real-life stories as a way to inspire others to donate life.

A self-described “fan of the cause” Tenaya and her colleague Stephanie organized a head shaving fundraiser in February for St. Baldrick’s an organization that raises money for childhood cancer research.

Tenaya sits on the Donate Life America board of directors.
